We are looking for an experienced Project Assistant with Sales Expertise to join our subsidiary Hocker Polytechnik Inc. in Thomasville, North Carolina – and to actively shape the growth of our U.S. location.

Your Profile:

  • Completed commercial or technical training with a solid understanding of both disciplines
  • Proficiency in CAD software – ideally AutoCAD, SolidEdge, or comparable 3D tools
  • Professional experience in project assistance, project management, or a technical environment
  • Strong customer and service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken (C1 or above)
  • Reliable, structured, and confident working both independently and within a team

Your Responsibilities:

  • Creating technical drawings, plant layouts, and basic technical calculations for extraction and filtration systems
  • Providing technical support to the Sales Manager, including system configuration, component selection, and quote preparation
  • Reviewing customer requirements and translating them into technical concepts and system designs
  • Coordinating with our German headquarters, Höcker Polytechnik GmbH, on technical details, design data, and project deliverables
  • Preparing bills of materials, technical documentation, and tender documents
  • Managing project planning, document tracking, and internal communication across sales, engineering, and service teams
